- Saw II's enormous Friday opening represents 66% of what the original flick took in it's entire weekend at the same time last year. Unlike the first which was built up on buzz and good word of mouth, this one is extremely front loaded and is playing to a thirsty Halloween audience. Reviews were poor, and drops on Saturday & Sunday are to be expected. REGARDLESS, the films weekend performance could stand at a towering and mind-blowing 30-32 million.

I went to see Saw 2 tonight i loved every second of it! so much better than the first and much better acting

What is Saw? Sadly, I haven't seen the first. I rarely get to see movies anymore. What's it about. I like horror movies, but I've been looking forward to seeing these two. Chainsaw Masacre was good, but is this better.

'Saw II' was #1 for the weekend with 30.3 Million. 'The Legend of Zorro' took in 16.5 million, and 'Prime' hit over 6 mil, 'Weather Man' just over 4 million.

'Doom' fell a horrendous 74%, 'Dreamer' an encouraging 31%.

I saw it on Halloween, and Saw II was brilliantly (is that a word?) scary.
It's creative, and got a GREAT ending.
