Jessica Alba is afraid she is being typecast because she only gets roles as a whore or sexy maid.
The Sin City actress said she would like parts that are similar to those offered to Natalie Portman.
Jessica said: "The scripts I get are always for the whore, or the motorcycle chick in leather, or the horny maid.
"I get all those screenplays that start, 'Tawnya is in the shower. The water streams down her naked, perky breasts'.
"Somehow, I don't think this is happening to Natalie Portman."
Alba, 24, has just finished filming her latest movie Into The Blue - where she appears in most of the scenes in a bikini.
She told Zoo magazine: "I'm going to have to face it - when a big director who I really respect has an amazing story, it might be necessary to do a nude scene.
"But I probably couldn't sleep well at night being naked in a movie. My father would lose his mind."
Jessica also revealed that she has been propositioned by several directors while auditioning for roles.
She said: "Of course I've been asked.
"But from a really crass point of view, if I just want to f*** somebody, I don't really want to see him in the morning, much less every day during filming."

That is probably because she has accepted mostly those roles in the past including the not so strong but cheesy characters e.g. Honey and Sue Storm. It would be great to see her in other roles though, I think if she heards of a film casting she could get in touch with the necessary person and state her interest, other actors/tresses have done that in the past and hence got roles they wouldn't have otherwise been considered for.
As for the nude scenes etc, personally I don't see why a 'good' movie needs to have that, yes at times it does seem necessary or really does add to a storyline but it really does some seem over-used or expected for the sake of it now. If she doesn't want to I don't see why should have to ocmpromise if she respects a director, it's so much of that attitude in a multidue of areas e.g. fashion, film, music that allows the industry to walk all over people and make them feel like they have to or should and should be grateful for the chance and dehumanises them to the point where the concepts, clothes, poster value etc becomes more important then the people. However, if she decides she wants to either herself or with a body double(s) then that's her business but to be honest, she has shown pretty much all there is to bare many times in terms of being in underwear and bikinis so there's no need to go any further. Keep a little to yourself at least I say, otherwise what do you have left? Especially if she doesn't want to, as soon as she does, people will think she can/will do it again and she might get more unwanted offers. But anyway, it's her choice and hopefully she will get more of a variety to choose from.
