View Full Version : How do you make video captures? Alex 7/24/2007, 12:09 AM I really want to make some, but I'm not sure how. Please help me!!! J@r3d 7/24/2007, 2:26 AM Youtube Method: go to youtube and find the video u want to make a cap out of...when u find a good scene pause the video and press the "print screen" button then go to paint or something and paste it...then after you save, edit it (crop, sharpen) with any program (photoshop, animation shop ect.). Animation Shop Method: You should convert a video to .mpg format and open it with animation shop (you should only open about 200 frames so your computer wont freeze) then after u find a nice frame drag it out, edit it and save. Alternative Method: you can use the the media program named "VLC Media Player" you can play videos with it and pause the video when u have a great scene and right click and then select "snapshot" it takes a snapshot of the scene u paused, then from there u can edit it with any program i have said before. Alex 7/24/2007, 9:11 AM for the youtube method, everytime i press print screen, it pastes the whole youtube page. Hot do you get it to do just the video? J@r3d 7/24/2007, 2:10 PM crop it or go to paint and drag it into the top left corner Alex 7/24/2007, 6:32 PM screw the yotube idea, i need more info on the alternative way. -Where do you get the videos from in the vlc media player? -How do you get them on there? -How are u supposed to make an image from the video on ther? Btw thanks youve been a really big help so far :) 1-N-Only21 7/24/2007, 7:31 PM the youtube idea sounds easy but i don't know how to print screen Eddie 7/24/2007, 8:38 PM Print Screen is a button on your keyboard by F12. The youtube method also works on Birhgtcove.com, MTV.com, and some other places too. |
