After you get the video from YouTube how do u post the video in Photoshop?

Save the video that your uploading and a good idea would to be making a file for your youtube videos.

open the video in photoshop, by clicking the file menu.

I'm not a pro at this, but it's a suggestion.

You can convert the video on www.Media-Convert.com to mpeg format and then while playing it, maybe take screen caps by pressing Print Screen? Then you can edit that screen capture by cropping it or increasing brightness with any photo-editting program, including photoshop and paint.

if you wanna make a cap, then go to the video you want to caputure, pause it at a good place, then press PrntScrn (it should be on your keyboard) then paste it into your progran, cut it to the are you want, then resize it!

I Don't Know How To Paste In Adobe Photoshop

File -> New
The Preset drop-down menu should say Clipboard.
Click Okay and then a new file opens.
Now click Edit -> Paste or press Control+V
There you have your screen capture of your whole screen.

To crop, just select the part of the video you like and then Image -> Crop.
To change the look of that capture/crop, mess around with the things under Image -> Adjustments.
To undo something you just did, go to Edit -> Undo or press Control+Z

The face looks bigger because you are seeing the image at 100%, compared to seeing the original screen capture at 55% (or something similar) which makes the face look smaller when not cut. To resize the crop, simply go to Edit -> Image Size. Then make sure the right drop-down menus has Pixels selected and make the width 82 and height 85. If it does not let you enter those numbers, it is probably because you have Constrain Proportions checked. Uncheck that and try again. :)

I suggest you play around with Photoshop in order to figure it out some more or find a tutorial on google by searching "Photoshop Tutorials."

To make caps as simple as possible? Yes. However, MS Paint requires more effort.

Press Print Screen to take a screen capture of the video. Then, from Edit, Paste it into MS Paint. Now select an area and then Right-Click, Copy. Now go to File -> New. Resize your white space as small as you can (either by dragging the small box on the lower right or going to Image -> Attributes and making the width/height both 1 pixel) and then Edit -> Paste again. There is your crop.

To resize the crop, go to Image -> Attributes to find the original dimensions of the crop. Then you have to calculate if you want the height 10% smaller or 50% smaller, and to do that you go to Image -> Stretch & Skew.orangeYou guys really need to check out Google (http://www.google.com) and explore all the programs you have. :p I suggest getting GIMP (http://www.gimp.org/) if you want a free program that is almost as simple as Photoshop.

OMG i did it! i did i made my 1st video cap! i used the Youtube method which is easy just pause & press print screen button & then copy & past to paint which i did & then i resized & made it more brighter. & i'm happy with the result! Thanks JerseyBoy & Orange for explaining this method!

i only got paint..so how do i do it on that.

Edit by Orange: See this post (http://www.atrl.net/?p=1382383#1382383) for making caps with Paint. Someone else added that to change brightness, you can paste the result in Microsoft Word and mess around with it there.

Easiest way to do it is this.

1. Find a video somewhere like youtube.
2. Pause it at the spot you want the cap to be.
3. Hit the Print Screen key on your keyboard (should be next to F12)
4. Go into Paint and click Edit-Paste
5. Move and then take out everything except the picture from the video.
6. Go to Image-Stretch/Skew
7. Stretch the image a certain percent and it will be resized by that much percent (it looks better than resizing it on other programs).
8. If you cant get it to exactly the size you want, get it close to it and then go to Image-Attributes and make it the size you want. Very very little of the image will go away and you won't be able to see a difference at all.

Oh yeah, and I gotta point out that if you want to make 82x55 caps, then crop your image so that the height is 2/3 the width.

But, I can make video captures if you download videos from youtube in www.javimoya.com, so, change the file and now you can make captures in WINDOWS MOVIE MAKER! xD...

Not from youtube. When I download a video from youtube, the quality is worse :o.

First go to website or program where the video cap
like YouTube
pause to the scene that you want to be video cap
juts click Print Screen
You dont know where?
it is in your keyboard
the logo is Prt Scrn
and then paste it on MS paint
cut the video cap and paste it to another MS paint and resize it
You have now Video Cap

The way i made my cap

1. Open Youtube
2. Then, while the video is playing, click Priint Screen
3. Open MS Imaging
4. Click New
5. Click Ctrl+V
6. Then Crop It to 246x165 pix, this step is a lil busy,
7. Resize It to 82x55
8. Set the brightness and contrass as you like
